General Information
You must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months after your departure date. For a restricted area trekking permit, we need to have the passport photocopies with four photographs, at least a month in advance. Nepal Visa, single or double entry as required can be obtained on your arrival in Kathmandu airport or from the Nepalese Embassy in your country. For visas to Tibet and Bhutan, you need to send photocopies of your passport at least a month in advance.

Our cooks are well trained to prepare and serve food hygienically. As per our set menu, the cook will prepare delicious foods of different varieties for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You will be woken up with hot tea or coffee and with a bowl of hot water for washing. On special occasions, our cook will go out of the way to even prepare a Birthday cake!
Normally we camp where acceptable water facilities exist. The tents we provide are roomy and comfortable, matching with clean sleeping bags. At all our camp sites a toilet tent and dinning tent with table and camp stools will be provided bringing a comfortable atmosphere to eat and chat with our staff. You are kindly advised to co-operate with our staff during the trek, for the collection of garbage and to help us protect and maintain a clean environment. A rubber mat is provided to every body during our Camping Treks.
There is no real need for you to worry about the altitude, but you should be aware that it does affect some people's performance. Though our treks are planned to allow time for acclimatizing, it is unknown to anyone how they will physically react to high altitudes. For the strenuous treks, you are advised to bring your own medical kits with adequate medicines including Diamox..We provide Gamow (pressure Bags) for high altitude treks for safety.The vital factor, advisable here is to descend to lower altitude as fast as possible.Our highly experienced Sherpa Guide and Trek Leader is always with you to assist.
We provide high quality VE 25 North Face, Salewa and Ferrino OZARK or Nepali Tents along with different capacity dining tents, tables & chairs, toilet tents,toilet stool and kitchen tents and staff tents.
Porters Sleeping tent, Trekking Shoes, Socks, Gloves, Woolen caps, Snow goggles, Gortex Jackets & Trousers, Medical & life Insurance, rescue evacuation, transportation during the trek as per the IPPG principles.
As everything has to be carried either by porters or by mules or Yaks, we allow 20 kgs of personal gear during your trek. You are also advised to be responsible for your own baggage during your trekking to avoid disappointment of loss of personal items.We advise you to take things that are necessary during the Treks only.
Our capable and experienced city guide will escort you during your c4-fours and cultural heritage tours of Nepal and provide comprehensive explanations in brief. On your request, we will provide you city guides who can speak your language to make your trips more enjoyable and to understand our culture more deeply.
Our well trained Sherpas and Guides are experienced in leading the trails in different parts of the Himalayas, has knowledge regarding first aid, communication with local people and an understanding of their cultural and environmental aspects. They are always alert and ready with his staff to assist the team members, whenever and wherever required. All our Trek Leaders are highly conscious about Environment conservation with LEAVE NO TRACE principle.
For Kathmandu city, we provide deluxe coaches for sightseeing and airport transfers. For trekking destinations, we provide heavy duty vehicles as per the condition of roads, to carry equipment along with the clients and our Nepalese crews.
We use various types of hotel accommodation: from tourist standard to five star deluxe facilities, depending on the clients' budget and preference. Most of the hotels in Kathmandu are located within five to seven kilometers from the airport and ten minutes walk from the city center. For hotel accommodation outside Kathmandu, such as in Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Lumbini and Lukla, recognised tourist standard hotels will be used for transit purposes.
In order to upgrade our services, we request you to fill up the trip report forms provided by our crew. If you are satisfied with our staffs' performances, we suggest you leave a tip of US$ 2 per staff per day for soft treks and US$ 3 for strenuous treks. This is not compulsory. However, keep in mind that Trekking is a seasonal job and that the crew have to live their lives throughout the year.
Advance booking for the trips help us to plan better, to complete the local formalities, make flight and hotel bookings and to provide you a trouble-free holiday. Advance payment can be made by bank transfer along with the bank's service charge which must be borne by the clients. We also accept cash or traveller cheques. If the trek is shortened for any reasons beyond our control, The Company is not liable for any refunds of the amount already paid.
Regarding insurance: Everyone who plans to trek with us must have individual travel insurance to cover emergency Helicopter rescue costs, medical and incidental expenses like extra travel (rejoining or repatriation) cost. We strongly recommend that you insure against Illness, rescue, medical evacuation, delays and loss of your luggages during the Trip. Trekking members with a family are advised to make sure that they will be responsibly provided for in case of accidents.
